The passing of Jim Galbreath

Jim Galbreath, the founding Scoutmaster of Troop 80 who served in that role for more than 30 years, building a great many of the traditions still used today,  passed away on February 27th.

T80 Eagle Scout Bob Capriles is working to bring together Scouts who worked with Jim to perform the flag ceremonies at his memorial service.  Anyone wishing to participate in the Flag Ceremony should contact Bob at 650-224-7200.

Please pass the word to any Troop 80 alumni you know.

Reunion and Jim’s Birthday

Here’s some of the pictures I got from the event at the Palo Alto fire circle.  Think this was Jim’s 80th.  There are probably more photos from the event.  If you have some please let me know.  Also if you know of other events (there was an Eagle court recently) and have pictures please let me know and I’ll get posts setup for those too or you can create an account and make one yourself.  🙂

I seem to have lost the list I had of old user accounts. But here’s a new site up and running to try to help save things. The old site was a couple years old and kept getting hacked. So the updated code should help keep the script kiddies out. 🙂
